TriStar hosted a BBQ and parade  for our smart owners at the dealership. Smart owners arrived from as far away as Cape Breton. TriStar hoisted a smart parade through the City, with stops at various local venues ending back at the dealership where we awarded prizes to the farthest travelling smart, the dirtiest smart and the most customized smart.

 

TriStar hosted the Mercedes Trophy event at Riverside Golf and Country Club. Over 72 clients participated in a round of golf, complementary Lunch and the awards buffet. Winners John Travis and Reg Van Drecht  went on to compete in the National Mercedes-Benz Trophy event on Ontario. And Reg ultimately went to Germany to compete in the World Mercedes Trophy Finals.

 

TriStar hosted an Autocross event highlighting the driving and handling characteristics of the new C Class series. The New Brunswick Sporting Car Club in Saint John and Moncton Motor Sports Club set up the course and provided marshalling and safety crews for our participants. The event lasted two days affording drivers the opportunity to experience the cars at Harbour Station in Saint John and at Magic Mountain in Moncton. More than 70 people participated driving our C300 4 Matic, E300w4M and our ML320CDI. Everyone was amazed at the handling and agility of the 4 Matic’s.

TriStar introduced the Mercedes-McLaren SLR at a gala evening held at the dealership in conjunction with Couture SJ  a local fashion event. More than 125 guests joined us for the gala Evening. The event  offered  our gues the opportunity to see  the Mercedes SLR, the trendiest  fashions, latest jewelry and sample some of the finest food. The SLR was on display for the rest of the weekend with more than  500 people stopping at the dealership to look at the exotic SLR.

The objective of this program is to teach advanced driving techniques and apply them in a race track environment. This is not a "racing" course; it is a High Performance driving course. Drivers will learn advanced techniques and how critical elements such as vision, weight transfer and the use of controls ultimately affect traction and, therefore, the vehicles' behavior.
